Dungeon Quest is a game where your brain and your reflexes are put to the test.

Inspired by the hypnotic movement of the Windows 95 Maze screensaver, this is more than a trip down memory lane, it’s a full-blown puzzle dungeon crawler with Sokoban-style mechanics reimagined for modern players.


A Dungeon That Remembers You

In Dungeon Quest, the maze is not random.

It’s generated with purpose—designed to challenge you, not frustrate you.

You will:

  • push ancient blocks onto hidden switches
  • uncover secret paths
  • dodge deadly traps
  • discover relics that slowly reveal the story

As in the best dungeon crawlers, what starts simple becomes layered:

  • sliding floor tiles
  • rotating rooms
  • teleportation glyphs
  • enemies that follow Sokoban logic but behave with intent

Why We Built This

We wanted to merge:

  • the hypnotic, endless feel of the Microsoft Maze
  • the satisfying logic of block-pushing puzzles
  • the tension of dungeon exploration

There’s something immersive about navigating spaces that almost make sense—where the walls feel alive and the floor beneath your feet can shift.
